5th Australian National Weekender
Adelaide South Australia
25th, 26th, 27th Oct. 2002
Dates and venues for this great weekender have been set and judging by the interest to date it is shaping up to be the biggest and best so far on the Australian scene. A number of interstaters and
some overseas (UK) have already booked, so it is looking very promising.
Friday for those early birds who want to catch up we suggest drinks / lunch at The Austral Hotel (Rundle St.) 1pm onwards. This is central for shops, cafes, etc. A good pub for a drink!
Weekender begins at The Duke of York Hotel (82 Currie St) Friday 8pm to 1:30am. This is
Adelaide's home of 'Northern Soul' and where we hold our regular nights. So it should be a great atmosphere to start off the weekend.
Adelaide's regular DJ's, with lots of good soul sounds will have their turn on the decks.
Good food is also available 6-8pm for those interested and is strongly recommended as from past experiences its good to line the stomach for the weekend ahead. We recommend that you make this night as it is good to catch up and a very relaxed feel to the weekend.
Saturday 26th Oct. Arvo 1pm - 4pm Back to The Duke of York but in the 'beer garden' for the traditional 'sausage sizzle' and 'soccer shirt theme'! Locals Todd and Mark will host this and are sure to play some good sounds to keep the momentum up! Hopefully not to many beers
will be drank in ready for the big night!!

5th Australian National All Nighter Sat 26th Oct. 2002
Venue - Dom Polski Centre 232 Angas St. Adelaide (opposite WEA Building)
This venue is superb! The best seen so far in Oz. Huge dance floor, balcony all around, a sight to be seen!! DJ line up will be from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and the UK.
All Dayer Sunday 27th Oct. 2pm - 1am
Enigma Bar 173 Hindley St. Adelaide.
This proves to be a different and much needed venue to us here in Oz. We
decided, with the great DJ line up here in Oz, and the varied tastes to go with the 2 rooms. Downstairs will be a 'Modern and R&B' room which will run from 2pm to approx. 9pm. Upstairs will be the 'main room',
and will go from 2pm until 1am. We plan to finish downstairs approx. 9pm so that we can be together in the 'main room' for the last few hours of this brilliant weekend.
Tickets will be printed and available for sale approx. in August. At this stage we plan to keep the it at $25 for the whole weekend, which is the same as last year, so hopefully unless anything
unexpectedly crops up this will be the price. Not bad for all events over the weekend!!!
